I Know I Am But Summer To Your Heart

Posted by Gana Explore at 9:50 AM 0 comments

(by Edna St.Vincent Millay)

I know I am but summer to your heart,
and not the full four seasons of the year;
and you must welcome from another part
such noble moods as are not mine, my dear.
No gracious weight of golden fruits to sell
have I, nor any wise and wintry thing;
and I have loved you all too long and well
to carry still the high sweet breast of Spring.
Wherefore I say: O love, as summer goes,
I must be gone, steal forth with silent drums,
that you may hail anew the bird and rose
when I come back to you, as summer comes.
Else will you seek, at some not distant time,
Even your summer in another clime.

We outgrow love like other things

We outgrow love like other things
and put it in the drawer,
till it an antique fashion shows
like costumes grandsires wore.

Absolved

I remembered something that's now impalpable
for everything I thought I won't be able
to accept the truth and understand
that for me you're not the man

The time you left and walked away
In my life I decided to live in my own way
Each time I remember you
I just sigh cos I don't know what to do

Yes, I am now over you
even if sometimes it makes me blue
but then I remember the love I gave you
never came back to me until our time is through

Now we're on our separate lives
I'm happy cos our love didn't last
for I can't entrust my whole being to someone...
who has a heart that can easily be stolen by anyone.

HIM

Living...
I am now!

Ill-fated spirit, abase
Redeemed soul, aggrandize

Gladness rouse and hopes ensky
All of the weariness in I
All gone and shy

Why?

HIM

I exalt thee
and offer thine entireness
Thou shall be praised
until life is taken
under your grace

non-poignant blabs... pure nonsense

Posted by Gana Explore at 8:35 AM 0 comments

I need to blurt out anything that crosses my mind at the moment to de-clutter. Just need to forget grammar, punctuation, spelling, and getting the facts straight which are always part of my daily digest for 3 years.

It’s Friday and I should be out right now for some good meal, movie, or any activity I could think of... but here I am at home, looking at my computer from 8:30 this morning until (looking at my digital clock) 10:48 in the evening.

I'm feeling bored already... Write?... Stop?...

Hmmm...

Okay... continue!

Started the day by looking at the mirror (dang! too much pimples). Turned on the computer, and started working. After an hour, I ate my breakfast and sat back on my throne in front of a 16 inch flat screen monitor.

It’s pretty boring... but yes, this is how my life runs. yawn*

I always thought that it would just be another ordinary day, but it’s not! Went outside to claim my J.Co Donuts from Ken and went back home as fast as 1, 2, 3.

So I shared the donuts with my parents and had a taste of it too and oh, I like it so much... not too sweet unlike any other archetypal donuts sold around the city. Oops! I should stop. It’s not like I’m going to make a food blog entry of J.Co here lol

After my scorching heat encounter with the sun just to get a dozen of donuts, I immediately went to the bathroom. "What happens there, stays there" @_@

So, later this afternoon someone pissed me off. Facebook conversation stuff, but I was glad that the chat didn’t happen in person or she’ll freak out seeing my eyeballs popping on its sockets right before her eyes.

Yes, I have little eyes but it should not be underestimated. No biggie! It’s just considered as a bad spark to lighten up my lame afternoon.

On the brighter side, I got busy chatting in Facebook with more than 10 people (doesn't happen all the time).

Talked about future travels, The Voice singing contest, hobbies, gay tendencies, weight gain calculation (my result is beyond the normal range lol), and even put up a question like “Why does air needs to be sold nowadays?” ,

and oh... also worked my poignant hearing sense – a listening ear for the brokenhearted. Etc. etc. etc!

I still have a lot to tell actually but my eyes are now drooping. Oh well, there are just some stories that must come to an end sooner than you think.

Sonnet 43

(by Elizabeth Barrett Browning)

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

to an exhausting day...

(A Sonnet by Ganessa Archival)

From a long and exhausting day
I arrived and longed for my bed
there's nothing more to say
because sleep is all I need

I rested upon my pillow
and covered myself with a blanket
It permitted me to say 'hello'
to a dream that's one way ticket

Everybody loves me
Every person I meet is admirable
Everything I see pleases me
All are just perfectly happy and colorful!

But the clock's alarm is always a dismay
as it beckons to start another exhausting day...

Long From Now

(by Kim Sowol)

Long from now, if you should seek me,
I would tell you "I have forgotten."

If you should blame me in your heart,
I would say "Missing you so, I have forgotten."

And if you should still reprove me,
"I couldn't believe you, so I have forgotten."

Unable to forget you today, or yesterday,
but long from now "I have forgotten"

Azaleas

When you leave
weary of me
I'll bid you silent farewell.
An armful of azaleas
culled from the hill
I'll strew over your path
Step after step,
on the flowers
Tread lightly, as you walk.
When you leave,
weary of me,
I'll not shed a drop of tear.
